COMPETITONS
CONCURSO NACIONAL JOVENS CRIADORES
This collection is inspired by nature. Here, nothing is perfect, straight and symmetrical. The collection is marked by organicity and versatility.
Inspiration is demonstrated through ruffles inspired by the imperfect veins of the leaves present in the moodboard. Both through the application of tunnels, as folds and volumes that are created.
It is a practical, elegant and timeless collection, inspired by trends but, at the same time, independent of them. Through the pieces, an attempt is made to create a sense of controlled organicity.
The pieces are designed and created in order to function as a capsule collection, having main coordinates, but also being interchangeable with each other, thus resulting in look variations.
JOVENS CRIADORES COMPETITION
Inspired by sports modalities and athletic wear, this capsule collection aims to merge fashion and sports, while conveying the importance of sport as a lifestyle. With elegant and original proposals, I sought to create versatile and comfortable pieces that could be used, both in sports and in everyday life.
Here, elegance and casual come together to form a combination of pieces with dynamic cuts that adapt to movements and function as symbols of sport, which can take different forms and be interpreted from different perspectives.
The Braga CED 2018 logo was integrated in order to highlight the core of inspiration in a simple, clear and noticeable way. Strategically placed and using different forms of application, this element worked in order to enrich the pieces and the collection, and to communicate the idea of Braga as the European City of Sport 2018.

For young people living in the 21st century, society offers as many alternatives as ever in history, but it seems to reach to a bleeding stage.
As never before, power and domination act by different and insidious manners, sometimes trough linear and obvious paths, increasingly by curves and networks.
Power never ends, never begins, just stands, develops and makes its way for good and evil through wires and systems of control. Global societies in which we are living are interstitials spaces and times where power reshapes its faces and routes from which individuals seem to be trapped even when the fight is his/ her own dignity and freedom.
Power makes and power destroys until the end, it stands, it kills in different voices colors and tissues, it makes bleed.
